Sanchez Returns To Arsenal Training

Arsenal duo Aaron Ramsey and Sead Kolasinac have returned to first-team training ahead of the side’s clash with Bournemouth. Ramsey has been out of action for one month after injuring his hamstring in Arsenal’s 1-1 draw with Southampton on December 10, missing nine matches over a busy Christmas period.

Meanwhile, Kolasinac last played for the Gunners at West Brom on December 31 where he was forced off in the first-half, but the Bosnian defender is in contention to face Bournemouth. The pair were pictured in training on Saturday and joined up with Alexis Sanchez and Jack Wilshere at London Colney in the lead-up to their trip to Dean Court. Wilshere limped off in the second-half of Arsenal’s goalless draw with Chelsea in the Carabao Cup and there were fears the England star could be set for another spell on the sidelines.

However, Wilshere only suffered a minor ankle strain and Arsene Wenger could be tempted to start the midfielder at Bournemouth. Although Sanchez is set to leave the club before the January transfer window closes, the Chilean appeared in good spirits in training.

Manchester United are battling Manchester City to sign Sanchez and have reportedly tabled a £25million offer for the attacker. Asked about Sanchez, Jose Mourinho said: I don’t know if it’s ethical or correct The word we can find to be speaking about players of other clubs. If somebody speaks of one of my players to tell we are interested or we are not interested, I wouldn’t be very, very happy. ‘Sanchez is an Arsenal player, I don’t know but probably this weekend he is going to defend Arsenal colours so I don’t think it’s correct to say things about Alexis Sanchez.
